Responsibilities:
• Help define technical direction for the overall product in alignment with the business vision
• Develop & prioritize technology and architecture roadmap
• Articulate vision in-depth while inviting critics for positive technical debates & discussions
• Clearly communicate architectural and design decisions to all stakeholders
• Design & Develop core product components/systems that help advance the product forward, enable engineering teams to do their best work
• Review the work in engineering and help improve the process, code quality and monitoring
• Collaborate with external teams & advice on technology implementations for features defined in the roadmap.
Reflecting current trends on the technology and architecture roadmap to make the product technologically competitive
• Pro-actively setup reviews for design and code. Provide guidance to engineering teams during implementation and deployment
What You Will Do
• Worked on New Products from scratch and/or in early stage startups
• Previously worked in an agile product development process and high velocity environments
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
3+ years of experience as a staff engineer/tech architect/lead in SaaS/IoT platform
• 10+ years of experience in product development
What Will Put You Ahead
• Prior to being in the technical management role, must have had strong development background and architected scalable systems that have gone live
• Hands-on knowledge of Java development, dev ops, and front-end technologies (& terminologies)
Experience in Technologies - mongo DB, postgresSQL, Kafka, Service Mesh, AWS Stack, IoT core or similar
