The Manager – SS&P Analytics & Insights will be responsible for leading a team of 2-5 Business Intelligence Analysts in leveraging our subject matter expertise on the data, tools, and systems to deliver actionable, governed, and scalable analytics solutions that improve decision making, optimize processes and drive transformation.
A successful candidate will be a proven leader and a self-starting individual that demonstrates initiative, innovation and a sense of urgency towards evaluating data and insights-driven business opportunities.
This role reports to the Sr. Manager – Analytics and Insights.
This role is based in Downtown Atlanta at GP Center or an approved Koch location.Our Team
The Analytics and Insights Group operates as an analytics COE and is responsible for supporting the current and developing needs of Sourcing and Procurement Organization by providing detailed data analysis, developing reports and data visualizations, and supporting intelligent process automation solutions, custom web applications and data science applications to turn raw data into actionable insights.
What You Will Do
- Lead a small team of analysts and internal customers through the design, experimentation, and implementation of new analytical tools and solutions.
- Engage with our internal customers to understand their goals and needs, educate them on our team offerings and develop a roadmap of analytical opportunities to help build a long-term partnership.
- Responsible for working with all levels throughout the organization to gather and document the organizational analytics opportunities as well as working with IT partners to translate business requirements into functional BI requirements.
- Demonstrate the skills and knowledge to establish and manage timelines, project priorities, and handle multiple/concurrent projects. Maintain a sense of accountability and responsibility.
- Lead the continuous improvement, support and enhancement of existing data and business intelligence assets owned by the team.
- Partner with the Data Governance capability to design and implement improved governance of BI solutions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 4+ years of experience utilizing SQL to identify, clean and analyze data.
- 4+years of experience developing in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense.
- Experience working directly with business customers to understand needs, resolve issues, perform root cause analysis.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or Statistical area.
- Experience Supervising a small team of data analysts.
- Experience following SDLC processes when executing projects within a team environment.
- Experience working in an analytics COE or an analytics consulting role.
- Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay process or Strategic Sourcing activities.
