In this role, you will get the opportunity to build relationships, understand the dynamic procurement needs across the Koch businesses, and partner with Koch businesses to help them transform more rapidly.
You will have the opportunity to empower the team to optimize procurement operations, leverage technology to automate process, support the expansion of procurement capabilities, and drive service delivery improvements focused on enriching the consumer’s experience. The ideal candidate will bring supply chain and/or procurement experience, critical and problem-solving skills, and have demonstrated success in leading and influencing a team.

What You Will Do:
- Coach, develop, and motivate a team consisting of supervisors & professional staff leveraging Principle Based Management.
- Lead and enhance the KGS procurement service delivery leveraging vision and strategy to influence change.
- Regularly assess market conditions and industry trends and adjust strategies to maximize value for Koch.
- Empower the team to transform the Procurement Capability while evaluating technology and process improvements focused on enriching the experiences for those who consume our services.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with business partners identifying mutually beneficial opportunities to increase engagement allowing for influencing and enabling customers’ priorities.
- Foster strategic business partnerships with customers centered around virtuous cycles of mutual benefit.
- Work, on a first stage, in the centralization process of the procurement activities/processes of one of the companies of the Koch Group, related to North America.
- Be in charge of directly taking over these activities (hands-on) and in parallel, evaluate what the staffing requirements will be.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team on future planning and strategy for this team regarding future transfers and expansion.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
- Degree or relevant work experience.
- Experience leading a team of supervisors and professional staff both directly and indirectly.
- Strong initiative and high sense of urgency.
- Self-starter with the ability to lead and influence multiple priorities across a team.
- Strong communications skills at all levels in the organization.
- Financial acumen.
- English Proficiency.
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Procurement/Supply Chain Experience
- Experience leading and influencing a global organization
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain, Accounting, or Finance
- ServiceNow and/or Coupa/Ariba experience
- Project management skills
