In the Connected Mobility Business Unit, we are at the forefront of advancing vehicle technology. From innovative solutions such as 5G to hidden antennas, we design and manufacture products that enable flawless data transfer within the next generation of autonomous and connected vehicles.
In this role you will have the opportunity to be a part of the design process for all new and existing products from concept to production.
What You Will Do
- Support Program / Project Manager coordinating activities between departments to meet product development or project requirements, and to ensure project milestones are completed as defined.
- Working with the cross-functional teams to track the development of new antenna solutions, ensuring the assigned project team stays on track.
- Participate in cost tracking, reduction, and cost of quality programs.
- Assist Engineering as directed with the design and prototype of new or modified products.
- Assist and support as necessary in the review and release of engineering prototype samples.
- Assist the Program / Project Manager in solving development and production constraints.
- Assist the Program / Project Manager, as required, to carry out special projects, recommend procedures/steps to improve efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the creation/implementation of the processes and documentation for all new projects.
- Assist the Team as required in the support of production and the development of new products through reviews, root cause analysis, corrective action, discrepancy handling, lessons learned and defect prevention.
- Assist in analyzing and improving existing products, processes or design as assigned.
- Assist the Program / Project Manager in the creation and maintenance of the Program, timing, and Action Item list to ensure deliverables and milestones are met based on agreed customer timing.
- Any other works or responsibilities as assigned from time to time by superior.
Who You Are
- Ability to travel internationally up to 10% to support various project builds at the manufacturing site.
What Puts You Ahead
- Experience in Project Management
- Knowledge of design/ product development process.
- Effective communication skills in English (Mandarin Chinese or Spanish a plus)
