Our Team
Our Georgia-Pacific Green Bay Broadway facility is searching for Vibration Analyst to work a Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shift in our Maintenance department within the Continuous Monitoring group. These are highly skilled hourly positions requiring a thorough understanding of safe work practices, troubleshooting, and precision maintenance of manufacturing equipment and processes. The successful applicant will support our maintenance efforts and strive to further the reliability vision of creating an environment where equipment operates as designed, runs predictably, and never fails.
External applicants are eligible to receive a sign-on bonus equal to 15% of the total earnings from the first 90 calendar days of employment.
What You Will Do
- Collect route data, analyze this data, and then reporting back customers on their findings.
- Trouble shoot rotating equipment using strong decision-making skills.
- Use advance technologies such as ultrasonic and motion amplifications.
- Learn and understand the use of vibration technology and achieve at least a level 1 certification within 18 months.
- Manage and prioritize your own schedule and workload.
- Work with and hold information meetings across multiple department managers within the mill pertaining to the equipment run ability issues.
- Analyze data at a computer approximately 60% of the time.
- Gather data and trouble shoot equipment approximately 40% of the time.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Five (5) years of mechanical maintenance experience OR three (3) years of mechanical maintenance experience AND two (2) years of vibration analysis experience (ex. use of ultrasonic technologies and motion amplifications and analyzing data from those results).
- Two (2) years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing or military environment.
- Speak, read and write English.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Strong mechanical capabilities and understanding of long-term reliability concepts involving rotating equipment.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to work with multiple software packages (ex: Microsoft, PTM, SAP, AMS Machinery Health Manager)
- Strong math, logic and problem-solving skills.
