What You Will Do
- Ensure all Junior Quality personnel on-site are trained and able to conduct quality inspections, sampling, establish benchmarking items and perform all necessary documentation to establish permanent record of tasks performed
- Inspect all civil, mechanical, and electrical work performed in the construction of PV solar and other energy producing projects
- Perform audits on documentation and work processes to ensure compliance with established instructions and drawings
- Train Junior personnel in quality construction, inspection methods, and other expectations to perform the job successfully
- Train Subcontract Quality personnel in construction inspection and documentation methods required by DEPCOM as Prime Contractor
- Attend site kick-off meetings to be DEPCOM's Quality representative to our clients on all matters relating to the quality of the site
- Develop quality check sheets in accordance with IFC drawings, AHJ's and code
- Work with site leadership including Project Managers, Construction Managers, and discipline Supervisors to establish best practice methods for the unique site requirements
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience with data collection and reporting (first pass yields, non-conformances per batch, rework cost reporting)
- Experience inspecting construction techniques in the building of PV solar plants
- Ability to train personnel
- Experience with Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Valid drivers license
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering disciplines
For this role, we anticipate paying $70,000 - $100,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
