The Halsey Mill is roughly 30 minutes from the college towns of Corvallis and Eugene, and 90 miles south of Portland, OR giving abundant options for regional attractions and forms of entertainment. What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with Operation, Procurement, and Maintenance Planners
- Attend weekly Asset Maintenance Work Process (AMWP) Weekly Area Prioritization Meetings
- Work with Storeroom Manager to ensure parts are committed and purchase requisitions are sent to procurement for timely issuance of purchase orders
- Work with procurement to ensure purchase orders are issued for parts to be onsite to meet scheduled work order dates
- Transfer, monitor, track, and update internal material Stock Transfers as needed to support your planned outage requirements. Identify trends and potential supply chain issues and collaborate with business partners to resolve the issue and/or improve the process
- Ensure repairable items are tagged and returned/picked up by storeroom personnel to be sent to the appropriate inhouse or off-site repair shop
- Manage and coordinate repairable items in the repair process
- Work with Outage Planners to coordinate part kitting and delivery of parts
- Responsible for the fulfillment of all required material to support scheduled maintenance outages
- Coordinate with Storeroom Manager, Operations, and Maintenance on Slow Moving and Obsolescence material reviews, and Off-Book Inventory reviews of drop sites
- Move or transport materials from one department to another, manually or using material handling equipment
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- One (1) or more years of experience in a manufacturing or military environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office
What Will Put You Ahead
- Three (3) or more years of experience in manufacturing environment
- Material coordination experience to include interaction with vendors/suppliers
- Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – Preferably SAP
