Georgia-Pacific is now hiring a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler at their Circleville, OH site! The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for developing and helping execute maintenance plans and schedules to enable the efficient and reliable operations of the site.
The Planner/Scheduler works closely with Operations, Maintenance, & Engineering teams to determine priorities, ensure that work is ready to be executed in a timely fashion, and manage the site maintenance schedule.

What You Will Do
- Learn and apply all aspects of Georgia-Pacific’s maintenance workflow process to effectively plan work.
- Collaborate with production managers, reliability manager and maintenance supervisor on the weekly top priorities.
- Work with the Operations and Maintenance team members to develop a prioritized and resource loaded schedule to optimize internal resources.
- Review all work orders, decide whether a field check is required, and assemble a job plan, a bill of materials and all necessary permits.
- Analyze work order completion data as well as planned work completion to help eliminate unplanned maintenance downtime.
- Manage contract/service work as needed (quotes, scheduling, PO’s, work execution, etc.)
- Report weekly completion rates and weekly schedule adherence on a month to date basis.
- Provide on-site weekend coverage as needed.
- Point of Contact for maintenance contractors.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, military environment, or two-year technical degree.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience as a Maintenance Planner or Scheduler in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Experience with tracking purchase orders from generation to invoicing.
- Experience managing the safe execution of contract work from beginning to end.

For this role, we anticipate paying $75,000 - $85,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
