Molex, LLC is seeking a Regional Manager of Global Logistics and Operations Planning to join the team at our Bolingbrook, IL distribution facility as well as support our AME Region. This position will be an active member in our Global Logistics Operations Planning team and participate global projects/change management.
Our Team
Global Logistics Operations Planning Team is responsible for import flows as well as intercompany flows for our AME region, supporting our AME region customer service team as well as supply chain hubs in Bolingbrook, IL and West Coast, CA.
What You Will Do
- Support and Lead our LOP team members in the AME region (including Development & Training)
- Act as Support/Escalation contact for our AME region Customer Service Team
- Daily guide our overseas Supply Chain Center of Excellence (Planning) team members to support Molex Divisions and Business Units with agreed GSOP-E planning strategies and service level sets
- Review Fulfillment models/options as well as possible Molex Product Transfers / Outsourcing with relevant stake holders in project review meetings. Guide and Lead implementation / phase in and go live of agreed fulfillment model
- Lead Customer / Vendor onboarding
- Main responsible contact for Regional Business Continuity support (example Supply chain disruptions)
- Lead Revenue Optimization with relevant stakeholders
- Work with intercompany as well as external vendors related to finished goods service/supply into the AME region
- Work with other regional LOP Managers on high priority projects and initiatives
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Operations Management, or Logistics/Supply Chain
- 5+ years of experience in global supply chain planning, (intercompany) planning and/or sales & operations planning
- 5+ years in a leadership role with direct reports
- Experience with Microsoft Office software and SAP ERP/Business Warehouse software
What Will Put You Ahead
- APICS certification
- PMP/Project Management Professional certification
- Master’s degree
- Strong knowledge of Automotive business and expectations
- Additional Language skills (e.g. Mandarin, Spanish)
- Knowledge of other software applications in Planning/Execution (e.g. GIB, Infor Nexus, Kinaxis, Llamasoft, SAP GTS)
- High energy and self-motivated
- Strategic thinking and execution to drive process and system improvements relative to the areas of responsibility
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, negotiation and organizational skills
- Solid leadership and people management skills, a team player
