The primary role for this position is the execution of the “Procure to Pay” process for all indirect spend categories in Mexico within Molex. The job holder will be accountable for acting as a business partner to several departments within Molex with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to effectively influence business decision making. The job holder will be expected to actively contribute to the structure, style, and delivery of the wider Enterprise Procurement function, as well as develop strong links with Global Category team(s). This position will be highly collaborative in their approach and be able to demonstrate leadership and strategic vision that builds strong trust with stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced individual to build upon and implement programs to lead and enhance supply base consolidation and supplier performance delivering a competitive cost advantage.

What You Will Do

•Execute the Source to Pay process in Coupa.

•Supervision of 5 direct reports.

•Manages internal stakeholder for Mexican plants and collaborate with suppliers and category managers to ensure that Category Strategies are highly aligned to current and future Business needs and that the supply base can support these strategies.

•Craft and institute process improvement and efficiency within Procure to Pay systems to generate engagement and capitalize system benefits.

•Support implementation of category plan to ensure the underpinning process improvement and procurement activities deliver the expected business value.

•Strong customer service orientation with a focus on establishing and maintaining a strong customer service culture. Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and demands, to sell benefits to stakeholders and build and maintain stakeholder confidence, trust, and satisfaction.

•Communicates naturally with senior management with a strong ability to focus on issues critical to senior leaders.

•Actively contribute to the structure, style, and delivery of the Procurement function, as well as develop strong links with Global Category team(s).

•Advises on and drives procurement strategies to make decisions necessary to purchase products and services in congruence with organizational objectives.

•Drives and oversees the preparation of RFXs in Coupa with pertinent specifications, terms and conditions.

•Coordinates the introduction of new goods and services in the responsible commodity with appropriate business units.

•Analyses and resolves issues raised in procurement audit reports; ensures future compliance with local policies.

•Advises on contracts and agreements for the supply of complex goods and services with new and existing suppliers.

•Develops, evaluates, or manages internal and external relationships with suppliers, Category Teams and other cross-functional teams.

•Capable of challenging the status quo not only through negotiation, but also through innovation and demand management.

What Will Put You Ahead

•Degree in Supply Chain Management.

•Experience or extensive knowledge in the indirect procurement.

•Operation/management process (“Procure to Pay”).

•Advanced degree (such as in engineering, MBA) a plus
