Flint Hills Resources (FHR, a Koch Industries company) is looking for a Product Support Analyst to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that delivers quality services and sustain technologies (application, data, integration) to the capabilities that enable FHR''s competitive advantage. This team is focused on customer-service excellence, technology reliability and continuous support transformation. This hybrid position offers great development and advancement opportunities and is based out of Wichita, Kansas.
What You Will Do
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues and root cause in an expedient manner
- Partner with IT, vendor, or business teams to address urgent issues or roadblocks, communicating timely and effectively
- Collaborate across IT Product Teams, vendors, project stakeholder and business partners to continuously improve reliability and supportability of IT products
- Ensure efficient monitoring, prioritization, and leverage best practices
- Ensure knowledge is readily available to the appropriate audience to achieve faster common issues resolution
- Collaborate and contribute to projects, deployments, and key operational events where product support is critical to its success
- Understand how technology impacts critical business work processes, identify and prioritize opportunities to minimize business impact
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation (approximately 1 week per quarter)
- Travel to the sites as needed to assist with key operational events
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience creating and/or improving knowledge-based articles (KBAs)
- Experience troubleshooting complex issues with applications and data integrations
- Experience with monitoring tools and effective alerting responses practices
- Experience reading/debugging code and SQL scripts
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience setting up and improving monitoring and alerts practices (SPLUNK preferred)
- Experience supporting AWS Technologies and Services (Cloudwatch, AWS X-Ray)
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Experience supporting solutions with graph database (Neo4j)
- Experience debugging or modifying code (.NET / typescript) and database procedures
- Experience supporting critical Operations systems
