Koch Fertilizer, Enid is seeking a skilled and experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, integrity, and safety of all fixed equipment, vessels, and piping systems in our facility.

Koch Fertilizer, Enid is a leading nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing company that focuses on supplying various nitrogen fertilizer products to customers across North America.
What You Will Do
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of fixed equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and piping systems, to identify and mitigate potential issues
- Develop, implement, and ensure proper execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs for fixed equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Analyze equipment failure data and implementing reliability improvement initiatives to enhance overall equipment performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and other engineering disciplines to identify and address equipment-related challenges
- Conduct fitness-for-service assessments (FFS) and risk-based inspections (RBI) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to determine the underlying causes of equipment failures and recommending appropriate corrective actions
- Support capital projects related to fixed equipment, including design reviews, materials selection, and construction oversight
- Assist with the development of and adherence to engineering standards and best practices related to fixed equipment reliability
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and advancements to recommend innovative solutions for enhancing equipment reliability
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field OR 3+ Years experience in reliability engineering in industrial manufacturing or related industry
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to wear PPE in designated areas
- Ability to climb up to 150 ft on occasion
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in reliability engineering in an industrial manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ANSI
- Experience with inspection techniques, NDE methods, and fitness-for-service assessments
- Proficiency in using reliability software and tools for data analysis and predictive maintenance
- Relevant certifications such as API 510, API 570, API 653, API 580, and API 581 are desirable
