If so, Koch Minerals and Trading (KM&T), a global commodity trading house, has an exciting opportunity for you as a Senior Carbon and Renewables Trader to contribute to the KM&T Environmental Markets team. This role will be responsible for trading, structuring, origination, and marketing of our services in the global carbon and renewables arena.

What You Will Do
- Trading in carbon and renewable markets (RECs/ GOs/ IRECs). Providing a strategic point of view on these markets and sharing insights across KM&T and other Koch companies
- Developing fundamental analysis and trading strategies. Manage data inputs and sources for analysis
- Providing transactional support and route to market for commercial activities
- Managing existing relationships and origination/ development of new opportunities
- Identifying and developing customer and project base to support merchanting business platform
- Supporting risk management in identification of the risk profile inherent to our commercial activities
- Promoting a collaborative culture within the company. Contributing to peers and providing honest feedback where appropriate
- Provide analytical insight to developing existing and future strategy development
- Develop, back-test and maintain models predicting balances/ trade flows/ demand across renewables markets
- Develop or integrate research into an existing analytical platform for the easy distribution of findings/ data dashboards amongst the team
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Sciences, etc.
- A minimum of ten years experience as a trader/ trading leader in the US or EU carbon markets OR experience in RECs/GO/iREC markets
- A minimum of five years experience trading or evaluating options
- Experience researching and producing fundamental analysis supporting market viewpoints
- Experience in one or more advanced analytical tools for handling large datasets
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
What Will Put You Ahead
- Programming experience (preferably Python)
- Experience in developing emission abatement projects
- Experience in managing a portfolio of customers
- MBA
