Georgia Pacific - Dixie is seeking a Site Technology Leader to be the primary IT point of contact at our Dixie Manufacturing facility in Jackson, TN. Primary focus will include IT oversight, support, communication, and knowledge sharing.
Our Team
A successful candidate will be a member of the Dixie® Digital Site Services Team. This individual will be expected to build and foster effective relationships with the site stakeholders for systems, networks, and technical needs. Good communication, trouble-shooting skills, and relationship management skills will be additional keys to success.
The role includes the following:
· Ability to drive the IT/OT Vision with tenacity and courage
· Coordinate and Optimize IT/OT capabilities onsite to improve business outcomes
· Build Preferred Partnerships with Site Operations, Process control, Engineering, and IT Capabilities
· Drive implementation of cyber security standards and process control security measures
· Manage site-based IT capital projects (interfacing with end users, developing scope, evaluating alternatives, development, testing, implementation, documentation, training, and support).
· Partner with Regional Manufacturing Support to enable emerging manufacturing solutions
· Support IT/OT networks and systems to ensure minimal impact/downtime to production, and help improve manufacturing reliability, efficiency, and productivity
· Up to 50% travel during first 6 months while onboarding and network transitions onsite

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
· At least 3 years of experience working in IT or Engineering
· Experience with project management toolsets and successful execution
- Willing to travel up to 10-20% of the time
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience supporting manufacturing networks, industrial control systems, PLCs, or DCS
- Experience gathering customer ideas/requirements and translating into effective solutions
- Experience working with Automated Guiding Vehicles (AGV) and Industrial Automation
- 2 years+ of resource management or supervisory experience
