Your Job
The Transformation Technologist partners with field Operations and the Field Data Solutions team to drive automation and the implementation of technological solutions that reduce operational risk and increase efficiency, throughout the Flint Hills Pipeline & Terminals organization. This individual will leverage their operational and technical skills to build relationships with the field operations personnel and the Field Data Solutions team to become the preferred partner in solving issues through the implementation of technologies.
Our Team
The Field Data Solutions team, the Effort Managers and Operations are responsible for identifying opportunities to apply automation or technologies that improve our operational performance of our pipelines and terminals. Collaboration between these groups and leveraging each teams talents is key to achieving our goals of future state operations.
What You Will Do
- Collaboratively work across site teams to drive transformation within Operations/Capabilities through the automation and elimination of lower value work
- Partner with Operations and Field Data Solutions to identify opportunities to apply technology to manage operational risk and improve efficiency in daily tasks
- Embrace and lead change by clearly articulating the value to asset owners and providing them with a detailed plan of how to get there
- Drive well-framed experiments fully utilizing partnerships (Operations, Effort Managers, Field Data Solutions, Capabilities)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience with relationship building with field Operations and Support Capabilities to understand improvement opportunities and determining the best solution
- 2 years’ experience in process or field operations
- Experience in applying technology and automation such as sensors, Pi Vision, etc. to change how work is done in the field
- Travel up to 25% per business needs
What Will Put You Ahead
- Advanced analytics skills(expertly analyze data, solve complex problems, derive valuable insights)
- 5yrs terminals or pipelines operations experience
- Experience with work management systems( Infor EAM)
- Experience implementing change within and organization
