Phillips-Medisize, LLC is seeking a Quality Supervisor to help support our Phillips-Medisize Facility located in Phillips, WI.
Our Team
Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company is an end-to-end provider of innovation, development, and manufacturing solutions. Our team at Phillips, WI is made up roughly of 250 employees that support our Production, Engineering, Quality, Molding & Tooling departments. This role will be a part of a team with 18 team members and oversee roughly 13 employees.
What You Will Do
- Directly supervise employees to ensure the Quality Team is completing required work activities; and is a focal point for issues, problems, and communication
- Improve the standard work for the Quality Team to assure that all procedures and tasks are done
- Support dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on incoming and outgoing product in accordance with sampling plans
- Act in accordance to documented procedures when potential quality problems are identified
- Provide quality systems training and assistance to employees in quality decisions and SAP
- Conduct regular audits of product and production to ensure the Quality Management System is adhered to in accordance with IATF 16949:2016 / ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Manage the MRB, perform inventory transactions for acceptable and non-conforming product and properly document
- Be the QN Coordinator to manage the issuance, compliance, and resolution of Quality Notifications
- Support the cross functional team with internal and external corrective and preventive actions
- Promote and exemplify our Principle Based Management Framework
- Stay in compliance with all Safety requirements
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- At least 2 or more years of leadership experience in a quality or manufacturing environment
- Experience working with an ERP system
- Experience communicating problems to all levels of an organization (operators, leads, managers, etc.)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Associate’s degree or higher in a related field
- Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 / ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Knowledge of injection molding
- Measurement experience using Calipers, Micrometers, CMM or Visions Systems
