Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a Quality Engineer & Supervisor to join our facility in Phoenix, AZ. The Quality Engineer & Supervisor will create value by assisting in establishing, implementing, maintaining and administering the quality requirements to meet customer expectations, through supervision of the Quality Inspector team.

This Molex facility works with custom fiber optic assemblies, bundles, and specialty fibers including gold and aluminum metalized fibers for industrial and medical applications.
What You Will Do
- Managing quality inspector team in regard to performance, career development, and team goals
- Lead/support AQP process and develop product quality criteria during new product introduction
- Initiate and manage customer/internal corrective actions using data based, structured, problem-solving methodology
- Support quality functions of day-to-day manufacturing operations
- Acknowledgment and understanding of all customers General Quality Agreements, General Quality Requirements and standards, as set by each customer
- Act as a communication liaison between the customer and manufacturing facility
- Act as a technical resource and quality escalation point for the initiation and implementation of cost improvement plans on new and existing programs
- Ensure ISO and FDA standards are followed
- Ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental Management System program SOP’s/WI, Policy & Program elements and encourages responsible use of resources
- Participate and drive continual improvement/innovation, corrective action and internal/external customer satisfaction
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- One (1) year or more leadership experience
- Five (5) years or more experience in a Quality role
- Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent mix of education and experience.
- One (1) year or more GMP experience (medical device OR pharma)
What Will Put You Ahead
- ASQC certification
- Experience using SAP
- Experience analyzing statistical data
