Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Planner/Scheduler (Electrical and Instrumentation) to join our cellulose team located in Brunswick, GA. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our electrical and instrumentation systems.
Our Team
Georgia-Pacific Brunswick Cellulose mill manufactures softwood fluff pulps. Our products are used primarily in absorbent products such as diapers and hygiene products.
What You Will Do
- Create a culture that drives ownership and continuous improvement.
- Order parts, tools, equipment, and plan work orders.
- Adjust preventative maintenance (PM) work orders based on root cause analysis (RCA) findings.
- Plan assigned work for Woodyard, Brownstock, and Bleach plant.
- Hold the team accountable for planning and scheduling process performance.
- Drive reliability programs including predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Coordinate contractors, provide scope of work, review work plans, and oversee work in the field.
- Process work orders in Asset Suite (CMMS)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience with maintenance troubleshooting, planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Experience working with E&I systems, including knowledge of medium voltage drives, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Associate degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or Instrumentation Technology
- Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) experience
- Experience leading improvement efforts in reliability, predictive and preventive maintenance
