Molex is seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our Global Category Management group. This role reports to the Global Head of Category MGT.
The team is responsible for working closely with the internal stakeholders for the Metals category to champion global strategic sourcing activities in effort to reduce costs, secure supply, and optimize deliveries; with an intent to ultimately prevent stock outs, leverage spend across internal buying groups, and maintain continuity of supply. Additionally, this team is responsible for directly managing most critical suppliers (e.g. business reviews, contracting, negotiations, etc.).

What You Will Do
- Provide administrative support such as preparation of external/internal communication materials and distribution list
- Calendar management, scheduling meetings and travel management
- Create, edit, and/or distribute communications using MS O365 suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Work, and Outlook), Sharepoint, Teams, and other electronic tools
- Preparation/Submittal of expense reports and vendor invoice processing
- Support Global Category team on supply market analysis, RFI/Q development and execution, supplier response analysis, and negotiation preparation.
- Provide analytic techniques to further support complex sourcing and supply chain projects for Global Category group.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while following through on issues/deadlines in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain a commodities and currencies dashboard to be used globally as a tool for making pricing and cost decisions.
- Generate and distribute monthly and quarterly metrics and reporting as determined necessary. Work with Global Category Managers to develop category specific profiles, RFQ packages, and perform data analysis on returned quotation packages to determine TCO impact
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and expert subject matter user of Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization and influence without formal authority.
- Possess a high degree of business acumen.
- Creative in designing business presentations using Microsoft Power Point.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Fluent in business English
