Are you passionate about technical solutions and creating a superior customer experience? If so, we invite you to join our team at Molex in our Walldorf office or work remotely from anywhere within Germany as a Field Application Engineer (m/f/d). In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the DACH-Region, where your primary responsibility will be to understand customer needs and provide tailored Molex products and solutions. With a travel requirement of approximately 80%, you will have the exciting opportunity to engage with customers across the DACH-Region (mainly south of Germany), promoting and implementing our products to drive growth.

Leveraging their technical expertise and robust negotiation and interpersonal abilities, they collaborate with innovative customers to shape the electronic devices of tomorrow.
What You Will Do
- Drive profitable growth within the defined customer base
- Build and maintain a long-term profitable relationship with the customer at all levels of an organization
- Captures both technical and commercial customer requirements in collaboration with Business Units
- Design and develop interconnect solutions around customer specific projects and applications
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Actively maintain updates and create reports using the Salesforce tool to support the business forecast
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Electrical or mechanical engineering degree is preferred - any additional relevant business/marketing studies are an advantage
- Experience as a technical sales engineer with an in-depth knowledge of demand creation
- Proficiency in initiating Engineer-to-Engineer discussions
- Fluent communication skills in Germany & English
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize and operate independently and effectively
- Willingness to engage in frequent business travel within the DACH region (up to 80% of the time)

- Experience working with SAP and Salesforce
