BittWare seeks a Field Applications Engineer specializing in RF (Radio Frequency) who is familiar with L-Band SATCOM applications. This is a new, rapidly growing application for the RF products sold by BittWare. The successful candidate will be considered a technical authority who can interface both with customers and with our product development team. This position is an opportunity for the successful candidate to become the BittWare in-house expert in this application area.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience using analog front ends.
- Experience of Xilinx or Intel FPGA/SoC devices and tools.
- Anticipate the technical data that prospective customers will request for their applications.
- Inform and review new RF product designs in the context of customer application requirements.
- Research new FPGA/SoC devices and work with Product Management to specify new product concepts that meet customer use cases.
- Understand the relative strengths of BittWare’s receivers compared to its competition.
- Ability to create product demonstrations and reference designs.
- A passion to help customers be successful.
- Able to work closely with key customers pre and post sales, answering technical RF questions.
- Direct BittWare management at potential corporate acquisition targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience of working in the Aerospace & Defense market.
- Detailed understanding of latest ADC, DAC and clock circuitry from leading suppliers such as TI and ADI.
- Detailed understanding of Xilinx RFSoC and Intel Agilex-9 devices.
- Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms used in applications such as RADAR, SATCOM and 5G.

If you have questions, please speak to your recruiter about the flexibility and detail of our compensation philosophy. For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000 - $125,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
