Asset Management I&E Planner
Our Team
Summary of the I&E planner position, this is a supporting position which includes but not limited to supporting the operations group. Planning I&E work and progressing the workflow meeting the needs of operations. The I&E planner will also work in key leadership roles during MMO and UPE’s as well as project work as needed. It is vital for this position to be a team player with a team focus being respectful and applying principled entrepreneurship to all tasks.
This position will be required to cover an on-call rotation and may require extended work shifts to include nights, weekends and/or holidays as necessary to business needs.
What You Will Do
• Plan I&E work within Invista Longview’s facility using Leak Kit (i.e., Detailed step outs, pictures, visual aids to assist the craft, proper BOMs, drawings, procedures as needed, and long text descriptions) which will enable the craft to perform the work efficiently and safely.
• Support unit needs in UPE’s and MMO’s in a leadership role (Field coordinator) directing contractors safely and efficiently to all aspects of the jobs. Ensure Invista policies and procedures are being followed. This will include Pre, Execution, Post, and all phases of outage/ project.
• Innovate ideas, solutions in support of creating value by higher yields, lower costs, and improving performance.
• Evaluate all proposed work orders for potential safety hazards; create job plans that identify and mitigate safety threats Actively participate in the site safety program, taking part in formal and informal safety audits.
• Audit Work Orders after completion to ensure that as-found/as-left condition is documented, verify calibration sheets and PM procedures were documented and successfully/thoroughly completed. Establish/execute processes to ensure that Safety Instrumented Systems and Bentley Nevada System 1 are maintained in accordance with applicable compliance and manufactures requirements; maintain documentation to verify.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• 3 years’ experience in an E&I technician/planning role ·or similar.
• Previous experience reading P&ID’s loop sheets, I&E notes/details, electrical drawings and understand pipe codes.
• Previous experience generating bill of materials and obtaining quotes.
• Previous Maintenance and/or Turnaround planning and execution experience.
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements (working in various climate conditions, carry up to 50lbs, climb ladders, stairs, wear required PPE and pass a physical abilities test.
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
What Will Put You Ahead
• 5 years’ experience in a planning or leadership role associated with I&E maintenance.
• Previous experience in scheduling software (EAM, Lean Kit and SAP).
• Electrical/Instrumentation Degree or accredited certificate.
