Phillips-Medisize is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing of injection molded parts and assembly at our Hudson, WI location.

What You Will Do
- Development and implementation of statistical incoming and in-process sampling/control plans
- Manage the qualification of processes performed by Phillips-Medisize suppliers; troubleshoot and lead corrective actions relating to supplier performance;
- Initiate and manage customer/internal corrective actions using data based, structured, problem-solving methodology.
- Participate in AQP meetings representing quality, where appropriate
- Leverage their comparative advantage to actively participate in continual improvement/innovation, corrective action, and internal/external customer satisfaction
- Support quality functions of day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Acknowledgment and understanding of all customer General Quality Agreements, General Quality Requirements and standards, as set by each customer
- Responsible for being a communication liaison between the customer and manufacturing facility
- Be a technical resource for the initiation and implementation of cost improvement plans on new and existing programs
- Manage acceptance of product & deliverables
- Coordinate new process techniques that improve overall job efficiencies
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience with Risk Management Process, including coordinating activities (PFMEA)
- Experience with the design and process validation activities for development program
- Experience analyzing statistical data
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering/quality discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience contributing to the design and development of components, assemblies, and devices for various industries
- Ability to manage acceptance of product & deliverables
- Experience participating on development teams
- Understanding of the project development process, associated terminology, and quality system requirements
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, sales, and customers
- Strong communication (verbal and written), teamwork and organizational skills
- Ability to identify problems, and develop and implement actions to resolve them
- Ability to motivate and influence people to achieve customer satisfaction
- Experience in the medical manufacturing industry
- Experience with SAP
