Join our greenfield plant as Junior Tooling Engineer.
The aim of the position is to coordinate all stages of development and maintenance in the production of injection molds in order to achieve technical and quality KPIs set by external and internal customers.
The person in this position will be responsible for solving technical / quality and design problems related to injection molds, as well as will be responsible for contact with the customer, other Phillips Medisize branches and subcontractors in this area.
What You Will Do
- Comprehensive supervision over the development of injection molds for new programs, including:
- Creation of URS for tools
- Scheduling the development, execution and commissioning of molds
- Reporting the status of development / execution / commissioning of molds to cooperating departments
- Compliance with PMC standards (design and implementation)
- Active participation in the development of molds
- Constructive conclusions from the analysis of the injection process (Moldflow study, DOE)
- Design approval and release of transfer after FOT to PMC
- Author automation specification and qualification documentation (URS, FAT test cases, SAT test cases, etc.)
- Participation in particular phases of the process validation, where the support of a tool engineer will be necessary
- Proposing improvements and modifications to the structure (products and tools)
- Active participation in the launch of the tool at sub-suppliers and at the PM plant
- Supervision over the technical / manufacturing documentation of tools, including a list of spare parts
- Coordination of tasks related to the transfer of tools between plants and PMPL
- Technical support for production / engineering and maintenance departments for injection molds
- Building a database of suppliers of injection molds and spare parts
- Promoting and applying in practice MBM rules
- Segregating wastes systematically, minimizing the use of materials.
- Compliance with the health, safety and fire regulation, procedures and instructions.
- Adherence to documentation related to Quality Management System
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Higher technical education
- Excellent communication skills in English and Polish
- Knowledge of:
- The design of injection molds
- Hot runners
- The principles of designing moldings and molds
- practical knowledge of mold manufacturing and maintenance
- Accuracy and punctuality
- Self-discipline and independence in action
- MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Knowledge of injection process simulation (e.g. Moldflow)
- Knowledge of statistical tools
- 3D environment for designers (Catia, NX, SolidWorks)
