In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on our automotive electronics solutions that solve problems for next-generation vehicles.
What You Will Do
- Design, Analyze and Test Current and other Sensors for various applications.
- Understand system requirements that drive product requirements.
- Develop, Capture and Analyze product requirements.
- Ability to Simulate magnetic concepts and correlate to feedback in design.
- Develop and utilize analytical methods such as WCCA, DFMEA, etc. for robust design methodology.
- Execute design reviews, risk analyses and Project Documentation
- Contribute to Production Assembly and Test Environment
- Compose Technical Documentation like Data Sheets, Application Notes, etc.
- Work with a cross functional team in quoting new opportunities.
- Benchmarking other Sensors and Key Components
- Assist with Product Roadmaps
- Communicate with Customers on the application of these sensors.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven knowledge in Magnetic Design concepts
- High degree of knowledge in magnetics-based sensing solutions such as Hall-effect and XMR
- Experience in the use of Simulation Tools such as Ansys
- Knowledge of automotive development processes including V-Model, ASPICE and agile methods
- Experience in the development of embedded systems, ideally in an automotive environment
- Confident communicator and successful networking skills
- Ability to cultivate relationships with eco-system partners.
- Goal oriented, structured, diligent, and independent work ethic
- Analog/Power/Magnetic simulation, design, and debug
- Electrical characterization of current sensors
- Equipment automation using VBA scripts or similar.
- Ability to leverage vendor relations for critical deliverables.
- 10+ years of experience
- Knowledge in Automotive Sensors
