To develop/support new and existing products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Support all projects in development to generate revenue and growth for Business Unit.
What You Will Do
| With guidance from Sr. Engineers and manager, develop new designs for optical components and manage product extensions, including fixture and jig for production line. |
| Provide technical support to customers, suppliers and internal personnel. |
| Coordinate product activities with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and quality teams using engineering change request (ECR) procedures. |
| Upload 2D/3D drawings to PDM, Agile and SVN systems. |
| Understand, support and contribute to current International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures. |
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Design experience in mechanical products for optical telecommunication such as optical components and passive or active modules.
- Design experience with assembly line fixture and jig
- Proficient in SolidWorks, DraftSight/AutoCAD and general office software
- Well versed in GD&T to fully convey design intent with deep understanding of manufacturing and inspection impacts;
- Familiar with mechanical design and general telecommunication standards
What Will Put You Ahead
- English CET 6 or above, or equivalent. Proficient in reading and writing.
- Adequate in verbal communication
