Our Brunswick Cellulose facility is looking for a Technical Capability Leader that will support mill/department initiatives and safety by ensuring technicians are properly trained and understand validation methods.
Our Team
Georgia-Pacific Brunswick Cellulose mill manufactures softwood fluff pulps. Our products are used primarily in absorbent products such as diapers and hygiene products.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Area Leads and supervisors to identify skill gaps knowledge/skill deficiencies.
- Identify and investigate training formats to support maintenance team and close knowledge gaps.
- Lead the PSQ process and coach technicians through the process.
- Update/write standard procedures, job plans, troubleshooting guides, etc.
- Act as department administrator for all electronic learning systems and records
- Strategize and develop training plans based on business and individual employee needs. Works closely with PCs on each technician's development using the IDP process.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders (teammates, customers, management, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office

- Experience teaching operational knowledge/skills and leading trainings
- Experience with time management skills
- Experience with organizing, scheduling, and executing tasks effectively
- Experience developing learning documents (standards procedures, job aids, etc.)
