This is a fast-paced position with frequent changes in the priority of tasks based on daily production, customer, and business needs. The Customer Service Representative creates value by acting as a primary liaison between our sales team, our customers, and our internal departments to ensure our customers’ needs are met.

Location: This role is on a hybrid schedule and seeking candidates in a reasonable proximity to Albion, MI.
Schedule: Standard business hours; 8am to 5pm, Monday – Friday, with flexibility as needed based on customer demands.
Our Team
GP Albion manufactures corrugated flat sheets which box plant facilities turn into boxes. We run 3 shifts Monday – Friday with a total of 70 employees. This Customer Service Representative will work on a team with one other CSR and will report to the Customer Service Manager. What You Will Do
- Interact with customers by phone, email, and/or in person to receive orders, cancellations, and changes for products or to clarify needs/requirements.
- Communicate changes, delays, requests, etc. to sales representatives and customers as appropriate.
- Complete various forms and input information into order entry systems.
- Interface with other internal departments to facilitate the order flow process and present information in one-on-one and small-group settings
- Coordinate shipment of products, expediting shipments, arranging pick-up of defective products, etc. with the shipping department.
- Manage sales backlog by reviewing sales and release orders, updating and closing/completing in the system as needed.
- Coordinate complaints concerning billing, product or service rendered, referring complaints by interfacing with Quality Assurance and working with appropriate departments to identify root cause and corrective action.
- Travel occasionally to visit customer facilities to meet with various personnel

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Proven success working in a detail-oriented role
- Experience collaborating effectively with others to problem-solve
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at once
What Will Put You Ahead
- Manufacturing or corrugated experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience, especially Excel
- Experience using Kiwi ESP
