We are looking for a full-time Construction Engineer (m/f/d) 3D CAD to strengthen our Engineering Team in Landau, starting as soon as possible. In this role, we offer you personalized training in a diverse and challenging environment of thermal process engineering and equipment design.
Our Team
Our team is a global leader in the field of thermal separation technology. We develop and provide top-of-the-line mass transfer equipment primarily for distillation purposes. Additionally, Julius Montz offers solutions for renewable energy and the food industry. At the Landau site, our Process Engineering Team also realizes complete systems with a focus on thermal process engineering, alcohol technology, and solvent recovery. You will be part of a dedicated and creative team where you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and grow with us.
What You Will Do
- Plant and piping design for process engineering systems
- Conducting design studies and drafts
- Creation and optimization of design documents
- Generating layout, routing plans, and pipe isometrics
- Preparation of associated drawings, bills of materials, and documentation
- Performing strength calculations during the design phase
- Design and calculation of mechanical components
- Specification of material requirements
- Technical and economic evaluation of design changes
- Coordination of design documents with customers, service providers, and suppliers
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering, or a comparable education, with experience in construction for plant/piping construction or apparatus engineering
- Proficiency in a 3D design program for plant engineering (e.g., Plant 3D, CADISON, etc.)
- Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., Pressure Equipment Directive)
- Conceptual thinking and a strong focus on quality
- High degree of social competence, teamwork, resilience, and dedication
- Independent work style, flexibility, and strong communication skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English
