Georgia-Pacific Dixie® Consumer Products Operation is seeking qualified professionals to consider for an Operations Leader role supporting the Consumer Products Group Operations located in Lexington, KY. The Lexington facility uses state of the art technology to manufacture Dixie® cups and lids in a progressive production environment. Dixie® is a brand of choice and is widely used in homes and businesses across the country.

What You Will Do
Safety & Culture:
- Lead and foster a strong safety and environmental culture that values risk identification and proactively develops ways to reduce risk.
- Build and support a culture where employees identify risks and work to reduce them
- Partner with safety professionals to develop strategies and champion a safe work environment
- Adhere to plant safety, housekeeping, and 6S efforts
- Develop an organizational capability in safety excellence
Operations Excellence & Performance Management:
- Lead the workforce in ways that are consistent with our culture of Principle Based Management™; Our Culture (kochcareers.com)
- Develop key business relationships and be a strategic part of the plant leadership team
- Be accountable for employee and organizational development plans and people management strategies
- Identify and align operational priorities with the business vision - ensure production and delivery of the highest quality products at the lowest costs, consistent with customer requirements, company plans and profit objectives
- Partner with plant leadership to enhance facility performance and metrics - lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and develop innovative practices, methods and procedures that add value for the facility
- Understanding and owning the financial performance of the department and institute continuous improvement efforts to improve cost competitiveness
- Leveraging capability support group leaders (i.e., EHS, Remote Teams, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, Finance, HR, etc.) through preferred partnerships
- Empowering culture change through discipline operations and capability improvement to drive performance in measurements tied to Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Providing strategic leadership to achieve key operation objectives in safety, environmental compliance, reliability, production, and cost
- Providing leadership and holding the team accountable for the implementation of complete asset strategies and an ownership-based work system that develops technicians to successfully operate, maintain, and improve the equipment and processes
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Proven experience leading successful operations team in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience leading improvement efforts in production, quality, and/or profitability
- Experience managing department-level budgets and data to foster continuous improvement
- Experience with Asset Strategy and Reliability concepts
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience with change management/transformation initiatives
- Experience working within paper and/or plastics converting manufacturing environment
