INVISTA is seeking an Operations Product Manager to join our IT organization in Wichita, KS. The Product Manager is responsible for leading a team that will be accountable for maximizing the value of the technology that supports the Operations organization’s strategic goals by driving innovation through product development specifically related to our Data Pipeline products. This role offers growth potential for a strategically focused professional with a passion for driving innovation. In this role you will collaborate with our geographically distributed business teams to align technology solutions with business optimization strategies for INVISTA.
What You Will Do
- Leadership – Develop a team of skilled resources applying PBM® guiding principles, ensuring professional growth & technical expertise advancement. The team consists of 3 to 4 members.
- Innovation – Drive your team to identify valuable opportunities that will align with and significantly advance our partners’ vision; develop well researched points of view related to pertinent technology. Apply your knowledge and awareness of industry trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs.
- Product Management – Identify and integrate business partners’ long-range plans into business capability roadmaps; create transparency to the prioritization and road mapping process. Roadmap execution leads to measurable results.
- Enable Virtuous Cycles of Mutual Benefit – Drive strategy alignment through effective collaboration with your business partners, understanding and profitably removing barriers that inhibit progress towards achieving our vision.
- Lead and develop a team of analysts who are working in a product focused area within the Operations capability
- Be a catalyst for innovation and business transformation by identifying opportunities and experimenting with new technologies and software products
- Plan and lead the analysis of complex opportunities & problems
- Identify, document, and integrate business strategies into actionable roadmaps and priorities
- Communicate with business leadership to evaluate initiatives and proposals to align with established roadmaps and business priorities
- Build and foster relationships across the Operations and IT organizations, including with executive and senior leadership
- Maintain creativity and innovation by staying on top of industry and technological trends
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, Project Management, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience leading teams, projects, or initiatives
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Chemical Engineering
- Experience working with business leaders on strategy, initiatives, and priority development
- Experience with the implementation, configuration, and/or enhancement of data pipeline applications
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
