1888 Management, LLC is looking for a Senior Financial/Tax Analyst to assist the Shareholder Support team with the financial modeling, cash forecasting, and situational comparisons of existing businesses and structures as well as with expected transactions and projects that support Koch family members, business entities, and non-profit organizations.
What You Will Do
- Create, manage, and optimize financial models for: estate planning analysis, cash forecasts, and taxable income
- Provide concise and insightful commentary on financial results. Communicate effectively to understand and explain results, highlighting opportunities and risks to management
- Collaborate with members of shared functions (accounting, treasury, and tax planners) to drive accountability and ownership by providing financial support and analytics for trusts, family businesses, and non-profit entities
- Provide ad hoc information, reporting, and/or data analysis to other capabilities (Tax, Finance, Family Operations, etc.)
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose new solutions to increase value and mitigate potential risks
- Assist and serve as liaison for the corporate enterprise and family entity valuation process
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- FP&A background / modeling experience which includes key driver analysis of financial results and economic framing
- Experience communicating complex financial modeling / valuation concepts and points-of-view to team members and senior leadership
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel Experience (spreadsheet editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
- Experience with estate planning, tax, partnerships, non-profits, project management, or legal document review
- Process improvement / process transformation / process implementation experience
- CPA, MBA, or other tax/financial certifications
- Experience working in an accounting, finance, and/or tax role
- Communicate timely and effectively, both verbal and written, with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with, and support other members of the Shareholder Support team
- Quickly identify issues and work with proper authorities/partners to reconcile and solve problems
- Follow instructions with precision and within deadlines
- Respond quickly and appropriately to change
- Identify and drive process improvements
- Manage multiple tasks in high-pressure environment with minimal supervision
