As a Data Program Manager with a focus on Data Strategy at Koch Capabilities, you will play a key role in capability development and implementing the overall data strategy practice and supporting enablement platforms. You will have the opportunity to work at the enterprise level, partnering across various business units to devise strategies that ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. Your main responsibility is to drive opportunity development and gap closure in Data Strategy & Data Management, including selection and implementation of frameworks, tools, and platforms to address gaps in our end-to-end data enablement, and ultimately enabling more effective decision-making.
Our Team
The Koch Capabilities Data & Analytics (DnA) team accelerates transformation of Koch Businesses and Koch Capabilities by enabling the realization of priority business strategies and outcomes through differentiated expertise and knowledge of data and AI/ML technologies, integrated operating model with current data and analytics capabilities, and by building, deploying, and scaling new data and analytics solutions.
What You Will Do
- Partner with the Data Strategy director to establish, develop and optimize the overall data strategy practice within the enterprise, fostering an environment that enables the successful execution of data products, end-to-end data platforms, and data governance – to achieve business outcomes.
- Partner with multiple business units to understand their data strategy and systems, driving alignment and synergy across the enterprise
- Be a thought leader and champion for Data Strategy, educating and influencing stakeholders on the benefits, approaches, and strategies to be successful with a data centric architecture
- Lead engagements of the data strategy framework and relevant models at the enterprise level and with business units across Koch
- Identify and implement data strategy solutions and enablement platforms in areas such as data catalog, data governance, data engineering, and data integration
- Collaborate with data strategy leaders in the enterprise, business units, and IT teams to implement technology solutions and projects that support data strategy
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze and address complex business challenges
- Have the courage to challenge and escalate when necessary, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect for diversity, and independent thinking
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in working collaboratively with various stakeholders, including leaders and users, to influence and drive data strategy decisions
- Experience with implementing IT projects and understanding of data engineering workflows
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use economic thinking to devise solutions and strategies
- Experience in developing, implementing and optimizing data management and data architecture within a complex enterprise environment
