We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to oversea and manage Product Development for optical products.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for product development management from concept to volume production
- Manage complex global projects and programs in complex stages of development
- Formulate teams against projects and outline core team members roles and responsibilities
- Develop project and program schedules and create budget/plan meeting objectives
- Anticipate and resolve problems timely and proactively to communicate with stakeholders, clients or internal partners as necessary
- Lead team in making risk and trade off decisions
- Conduct routine review with status and schedule update
- Conduct product life cycle gate reviews, approval and enforce the action items
- Coordinate cross functional team to achieve project/program objectives
- Escalate to executive leadership regarding critical risk management and conflict resolutions
- Actively manage product life cycle key milestones and schedule
- Ongoing communication with key customers
- Manage and oversea NPI transfer and project readiness for mass production
- Train, coach, influence other leaders, Project Managers and business partners
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, scientific or engineering field
- At least 5 years of Program Management for complex NPI engineering programs
- At least 5 years of projects serving telecommunications, data centers or optical projects
- Proficiency in project management methodologies
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio or similar tools
- Experience successfully managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
What Will Put You Ahead
- Previous experience in R&D or design in Optical Engineering
- Experience with multimode fiber optics
- Experience in technical leadership roles
For this role, we anticipate paying $150,000 - $200,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
