KBX is looking for a Director, Strategic Relationships, to join the team! This role is a leader position that has overarching responsibility for the health and profitability of strategic commercial customer relationships. This role contributes to the development of KBX’s broad commercial strategies. Priorities include the overall profitability and growth of wallet share business with commercial partners. This team’s areas of influence directly involve customer’s senior leaders, KBX strategic leaders, assisting sales with advanced prospect discussions & multi-faceted proposals, through oversight of implementation success and ensuring vision alignment across KBX’s commercial business. This role reports to the VP of Commercial Strategy.
A Day In The Life COULD include:
- Evolve services POV and commercial strategy based on market knowledge and expert insights.
- Curate industry relationships that will advance KBXs position as a leader in the 3PL market.
- Lead other leaders and teams that: develop comprehensive innovative solutions, develop individual customer strategies, lead customer QBRs, oversee bid strategies, customer scorecard management, and develop cross selling strategies. Prepare strategic plans and forecasts.
- Use professional judgment to assess the impact of decisions/actions on the customer and KBX.
- Build long-term strategic relationships at customer’s senior levels.
- Support KBX functional and execution teams to ensure customer satisfaction and KBX success.
- Contribute to commercial sales efforts by presenting information to potential customers.
What You Will Need (Basic Qualifications):
- Experience in Logistics/Transportation Management
- Experience using MS Office in a professional environment
- Ability to travel up to 50% based on business need, start-ups, etc.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications):
- Supervisory experience
- Experience managing a book of business comprised of multiple accounts
- Experience in Account Management role in the third-party logistics industry
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, sales/marketing, etc.
