Koch Agronomic Services is currently seeking a Market Analysis Manager to join our Product Marketing Team! As a Market Analysis Manager, the individual will play a crucial role in supporting our growth into new jurisdictions and product development process by conducting comprehensive market research, analyzing industry trends, and providing insights to drive successful product strategies.
Our Team
This role will report to the Director of Product Marketing & Communications and will be based in the headquarters in Wichita, KS.
What You Will Do
- Conduct extensive market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor landscapes, and customer behaviors, in order to provide actionable recommendations for product strategies.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate key knowledge systems on the fundamental drivers of purchasing behavior for each product category and at each step of the channel.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external knowledge networks to triangulate, interpret, and refine information into proactive insights into key drivers of business profitability.
- Develop solid working knowledge of the agriculture industry in U.S., Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Europe and Australia, particularly in fertilizers, micronutrients, seed and adjacent spaces.
- Clearly and concisely share, propose, and coordinate key market learnings/opportunities to Product Marketing, Sales and Innovation & Business Development for transparency, alignment, and challenge.
- Bring curiosity to the role, constantly seeking and driving challenge on existing mental models and biases, accelerating our learning, and improving our decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement in data aggregation, industry intelligence, and visualization tools.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in the agriculture industry
- Experience in a market analyst or market research type of role
- Experience with market research methodologies, data analysis, and interpreting complex datasets
- Experience using market research tools and software, such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI or other statistical analysis software
- Experience partnering with internal and external knowledge networks
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics, data science, finance or economics
- Speak, read, and write - Portuguese OR Spanish
