Roll Clamp Truck Operator
Georgia-Pacific is seeking Roll Clamp Truck Operators for our Kansas City, MO facility. This role creates value by loading corrugated packaging products into delivery trucks, unloading materials into the facility warehouse, and delivering inventory to production areas efficiently and safely which assists in the manufacturing of corrugated products. Current openings are on 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm - 7am). The starting pay is $22.04 per hour; after probationary/training period, pay for this role is $25.22/hr. We offer shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts ($3/hr for 2nd shift and $2/hr for 3rd shift). These operators will safely operate corrugated production equipment while maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations. What You Will Do In Your Role
- Safely operating clamp truck and/or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products
- Adhering to company safety policies and encouraging other associates to do so as well
- Working cooperatively and productively with the team in order to complete assigned tasks
- Understanding basic computer skills
- Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy environment
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
- Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Six (6) months experience of operating a roll clamp truck
- Six (6) months or more of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
