John Zink Hamworthy Combustion, a Koch Engineered Solutions Company, is looking for a contribution focused Sr. Electrical Buyer and Subject Matter Expert in Tulsa, OK. Your role is to oversee and manage all procurement activities related to electrical components. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services required for project execution. Your focus will be on optimizing supplier selection, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process from start to finish.

What You Will Do
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project needs, define procurement requirements, and establish procurement budgets.
- Plan and schedule procurement activities to ensure timely availability of goods and services for the project’s execution utilizing Koch’s DDOM and LN ERP platforms.
- Identify and select qualified suppliers through the utilization of Koch’s Arkestro bidding tool and structured supplier evaluation processes.
- Regularly evaluate supplier performance, monitor compliance with contract terms, and address any performance issues or disputes.
- Foster strong and collaborative relationships with suppliers, promoting long-term partnerships based on trust and mutual benefit.
- Execute end-to-end procurement processes, including requisitioning, supplier selection, bidding, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Conduct analysis of project requirements, specifications, and supplier proposals to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and value enhancement through effective negotiation, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in supplier management, procurement, or related roles.
- Experience with negotiation and contract management.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to travel domestic as required. (up to 10%)
- Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering related field or equivalent procurement experience.
- CPM, CPIM, PMP Certification
- Five years of procurement experience with electrical components.
