Our Molex team in Walldorf is looking for a Sales Development – Account Manager (m/f/d). In this role you will have the chance to develop strong relationships with our industrial customers, build a sales pipeline and identify new business opportunities. Here you will have the opportunity to promote and sell our products to drive profitable growth within Germany.
In this role we offer a hybrid working model and the position is connected with limited business travel.
Our Team
Your will become part of our Industrial Sales Team, who is responsible for sales of our Molex products in Automation Connectivity und Industrial Electronics area. What You Will Do
- Drive profitable growth within a defined market
- Develop, foster, and expand customer network by applying traditional and digital sales tactics
- Manage and maintain individual pipeline
- Support with complex Request For Quotations (RFQs) and pricing negotiations
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers
- Develop new and innovative ideas that enhance the customer’s experience
- Capture both technical and commercial customer requirements in collaboration with multiple Business Units
- Work with lead generation and marketing teams to understand and nurture leads through multiple digital and social media channels
- Working hand-in-hand with our customers to understand their needs, challenges, and growth opportunities, and working with them to develop and deliver a customized growth strategy
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Good technical understanding and some basic knowledge in Electronics
- Fluent communication skills in English and German
- Ability to prioritize and operate independently and effectively
- Open-minded towards digital sales tactics to grow business (i.e. digital marketing, and social media)
- Passionate about using modern communication technology to develop and perform presentations and demos virtually and thinking in a creative, non-linear fashion
- Able to analyze sales trends and changing market conditions and define success metrics within customers
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and engage potential customer
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent in the field of electronics, electrical, mechanical or similar would be beneficial
- Experience working in the electronics industry would be beneficial
