Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer role for its Mass Transfer and Separation Technology business in Koch-Glitsch division of our ET&S (Equipment Technology and Services) group. Are you a results-driven sales professional with a strong engineering background? Then we are looking for you to join our team as a Sales Engineer – Business Development in our office in Brno. In this role, you will be responsible for building lasting relationships with clients in the region of Central Europe, providing technical expertise, and driving revenue growth.

What You Will Do
- Acquire new and develop existing customer accounts
- Visit customers on a regular basis and identify significant business opportunities
- Prepare, negotiate and implement the sales and marketing plan
- Understand customers’ requests for quotation and develop meaningful commercial quotations
- Cooperate with the inside process and proposal resources to develop technical and commercial strategies aimed to secure projects
- Manage contractual negotiations, including commercial terms and conditions in line with KES (Koch Engineered Solutions) expectations
- Startup new orders by communicating effectively and accurately with the post-order organization
- Build and maintain a long-term profitable relationship with the customers
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer’s needs, pain points, opportunities, and priorities regarding their mass transfer and separation technology equipment needs
- Collaborate with a diverse team to develop technical and commercial proposals that clearly articulate the value of the ET&S (Equipment Technology and Services) proposed solution provides.
- Lead the bid review process to get approval to submit, work with internal legal team and business team on reviewing terms and conditions, financial instruments, and commercial discussions prior to submitting proposal
- Actively maintain updated the internal CRM and business tools
- Exhibit an entrepreneurial, customer focus with creative problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency to bring value-based outcomes to customers
- Assists the business groups and / or order execution to solve any technical, commercial, or credit issues
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree
- Sales or engineering experience in the field of oil & gas, chemical or similar industry
- Organization skills and ability for multitasking in a fast-paced work environment
- Embrace a customer-centric mindset, consistently going above and beyond to exceed expectations
- Possess a strong, results-oriented drive and a willingness to go the extra mile
- Proficient communicator, conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a team
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Travel of approximately 50% - Driver's license required, comfortable travelling by car
What Will Put You Ahead
- Fluent in Polish, Hungarian or Romanian languages
- Experience with mass transfer and mist elimination equipment and / or operational experience within the refining, petrochemical, chemical and upstream markets
- Experience / understanding of distillation & absorption processes
- Experience with Salesforce CRM tools
- Skilled in reading mechanical drawings
