Join our greenfield plant as Automation Engineer (Electric).
Molex is looking for an Automation Engineer to develop automation systems in a newly established factory located in Siemanowice Śląskie.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of new machines and solutions, mainly in the field of automatic assembly. It is expected that the automation engineer will be able to perform the assigned tasks with little support from the supervisor or management.
The candidate will have continuous contact with project owners (Engineering, Quality, R&D, etc.) in business units in international locations, especially in Poland and China. As well as with external partners, suppliers, subcontractors, etc.
What You Will Do
- Development of the Engineering department in the new Molex factory (Siemianowice Śląska)
- Cooperation in the design of machines and automation systems with Molex branches located in Asia and America
- Implementation of a high organizational culture in the field of electrical installations, devices and controls.
- Commissioning of machines and systems followed by constant supervision and introduction of improvements in the engineering department of Molex Katowice
- Independent design and programming of selected automation systems
- Cooperation with customers and sub-suppliers in the field of engineering.
- Cooperation within the Molex CCS group, support of other departments in the field of engineering
- Participation in training in the field of automation, robotics, quality and processes (including in branches)
- Sharing knowledge and developing products, processes and organizations within the Molex group
- Developing machines and automation systems for the automotive industry
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- University degree in electrical / automation / mechanical engineering
- Proven professional experience as a Specialist/ Expert
- Ability to work in a team, responsibility, initiative, sense of urgency
- Good troubleshooting and hands-on skills related to design, engineering and production
- Knowledge and experience in electrical engineering and the design and construction of control cabinets
- Practical knowledge in the field of:
- PLC controllers (Beckhoff, Omron)
- Automation elements (sensors, drives)
- Cooperation with robots
- Safety system
- Machine design
- Electrics, control cabinets
- Communication skills in Polish and English
What Will Put You Ahead
- Prefer to have automotive or greenfield experience
- Practical experience in implementing new solutions
