Georgia-Pacific is hiring for an Electrical Maintenance Technician with an opening on 2nd or 3rd shift at our corrugated packaging facility in Lebanon, TN.
This position starts at $29.25/hr + $2,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS!
MUST be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift - $2.25/hr shift differential!!

Shift:
• Only candidates who are flexible to be assigned to work any shift will be considered
• Candidates must be flexible and available to work first, second, or third shift as needed. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends.
• Currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift.
• Orientation will be on 1st shift (8:00am-4:00pm), and you will be assigned your permanent 2nd or 3rd shift after your orientation.
• Lebanon operates on a point based attendance program.
Shift Hours:
• 1st shift: Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:00pm; weekends and overtime as needed
• 2nd shift: Monday – Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm; weekends and overtime as needed
• 3rd shift: Monday – Friday 11:00pm-7:00am; weekends and overtime as needed
What You Will Do
- Troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures
- Working with machinery and mechanical equipment including motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production line equipment
- Reading diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications for installations
- Using hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring devices and testing instruments
- Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Previous industrial maintenance/military experience OR a two (2) year mechanical maintenance degree
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
- Able to provide your own metric and standard tools, e.g.: socket and wrench sets, and Allen T-handles
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics
For this role, we anticipate paying $29.25 per hour.
