What You Will Do
- Continually upgrade the existing transformation framework to ensure the transformation opportunities are identified, evaluated, executed, tracked and reviewed in an efficient and effective manner. Responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the project portfolio.
- Apply economic thinking and creative thinking, support the team member in developing the proper value proposition of the opportunities identified and prioritize the projects where the superior value can be created with resources profitably consumed.
- Regularly provide contribution summaries, reports, analytics and good examples related to Transformation efforts and share with various partners e.g. business and Koch CFO organization to help accelerate the pace in transformation and promote the One Finance Team mental model.
- Continually develop the meaningful metrics to assess the LC’s performance, identify and close the gaps.
- Point of contact in the region to support the global transformation projects, closely work with BTL’s to understand the needs and develop the action plans which are aligned and consistently applied across the international LC’s.
- Have the business and finance knowledge to efficiently facilitate interchange and relationships between Business Finance, Leveraged Capabilities and Finance solutions.
- Support and advocate environment of continuous improvement and gain in-depth understanding of evolving business needs to increase consistency, reduce pain points and drive end-to-end process change with a focus on synergy.
- Contribute to the growth and development of people to build a high performing finance team focused on continuous improvement and best in class solutions.
- Lead the evaluation of process and systems flows for automation opportunities leveraging ERP functionality and other automation tools to identify and realize the automation opportunities.
- Oversee the change management elements of the transformation to ensure that the changes are sustainable throughout the organization long-term
- Directly manage projects, including strategy, project plan development, coordination of project team, deliverables, testing, and implementation
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor degree in finance and accounting.
- Charted accountant (ideal but not essential)
- ~10 years of progressive/management work experience in the various finance areas with a deep understanding of accounting and business processes. Experience in consulting/advisory firm is a plus.
- Strong multi-task ability and project management experience
- Exceptional collaborative team player. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills,
- Strong Microsoft office skills including modeling in Excel and Process mapping in Visio is a plus
- Strong economic and critical thinking, open to challenge
- Think analytically, focus on the big picture, and able to drill into the detail and understand the impact.
- Flexible and able to work varied hours when necessary to accommodate global environment.
