Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Manager that will be responsible to development and implementation of sales strategies for EMS customers, plans to maintain existing business and identify new opportunities for growth to exceed annual sales goals. The Account Manager role, within Sales Development Group, is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at assigned accounts and ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction, also providing leadership and management in working with assigned accounts and cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for profitable growth within a defined set of EMS accounts.
- Develop, foster, and expand customer network by applying traditional and digital sales tactics.
- Establishes strong relationships at all organizational levels within the customer base and understands customers’ processes, business drivers and organizational models.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining individual pipeline.
- Understands the industry (applications, standards/regulations, drivers, and trends), the customer’s organization and desired business outcomes and Molex offerings and delivery mechanisms as well as partner capabilities relevant to assigned accounts.
- Responsible for complex RFQs and pricing negotiations.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Develop new and innovative ideas that enhance the customer’s experience.
- Captures both technical and commercial customer requirements in collaboration with Business Development Managers and multiple Business Units.
- Work with lead generation and marketing teams to understand and nurture leads through multiple digital and social media channels.
- Continuous learning of product’s functions and purpose to confidently support customer needs.
- Sets and helps manage internal/external partner expectations.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree within business or engineering field.
- Strong knowledge in sales/account management within electronics manufacturing industry.
- Experience in technical support and in customer care excellence.
- Good knowledge about quotation processes and understanding of the pace of the market.
- SAP and Salesforce skills
- Prior experience with Electronic Manufacturing Services customers.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial business understanding and entrepreneurship skills.
- Electronic application, connectivity solutions and automotive trends knowledge.
- Project management skills that demonstrate the ability to set goals and priorities to complete projects in a systematic and timely manner.
- Ability to prioritize and operate independently and effectively.
