Our Team
Our team of Shift Leaders are critical in enabling a safer, cleaner and more efficient refinery. We manage the day-to-day field operation through risk management and providing leadership to front-line Operators. Our team of over 200 operators are helping us become the most competitive refinery in the US. We are committed to the continuous growth and development of our front-line leaders.
What You Will Do
- Lead and develop plant operations staff to execute against refinery goals
- Foster a safety-first, collaborative work environment where employees are empowered to seek opportunities to build capacity and resiliency within themselves and the refinery while maintaining safe work practices
- Prioritize work activities within the 7-day schedule window and lead your team through unplanned events as needed
- Develop change management strategies to execute business priorities and create an agile work team
- Mentor and supervise plant operators through active coaching, development, and modeling of Koch’s PBM management philosophy
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience leading a team formally/informally in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Work experience in a refining or petrochemical facility
What Will Put You Ahead
- Work experience in plant operations
For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000- $135,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
