Join our greenfield plant as Automation Engineer.
The purpose of the position is to provide support, technical knowledge and solutions in the field of assembly line automation, packaging of medtech products in Phillips Medisize organizations. Participation in continuous improvement and the search for best practices related to process automation. The person in this position will be responsible for solving technical / quality and design problems related to automation, assembly station, as well as will be responsible for contact with the customer, other Phillips Medisize branches and subcontractors in this area.
What You Will Do
- Development of automation and technical solutions for PMPL
- Assessment of technical requirements, production possibilities and costs for new and existing projects
- Comprehensive supervision over the development of assembly station for new programs, including:
- Creation of URS for automated/ assembly lines
- Scheduling the development, execution and commissioning of assembly station
- Compliance with PMC standards (design and implementation)
- Active participation in the development of assembly lines
- Constructive conclusions from the analysis of the assembly process
- Design approval and release of transfer after FOT to PMC
- Author automation specification and qualification documentation (URS, FAT test cases, SAT test cases, etc.)
- Participation in particular phases of the process validation, where the support of a automation engineer will be necessary
- Proposing improvements and modifications to the assembly station structure
- Active participation in the launch of the station at sub-suppliers and at the PM plant
- Supervision over the technical / manufacturing documentation, including a list of spare parts
- Coordination of tasks related to the transfer of stations between plants and PMPL
- Technical support for production / engineering and maintenance departments in automation and assembly aspects
- Building a database of suppliers of automation, assembly station suppliers and spare parts
- Promoting and applying in practice MBM rules
- Segregating wastes systematically, minimizing the use of materials
- Compliance with the health, safety and fire regulation, procedures and instructions
- Compliance with documentation relating to the Quality Management System
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Demonstrated experience as an Automation Engineer
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Higher technical education
- Fluency in Polish
- Knowledge of concepts in the field of industrial automation and the principles of construction of assembly lines (robotic stations, pneumatic / electric /servomotors), knowledge of PLC controllers, vision systems, sensors used in automated stations. Safety rules-systems used in automated workstations, FMEA
- Basic knowledge of 3D (NX; SolidWorks)-, 2D AutoCad; MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Accuracy and punctuality
- Self-discipline and independence in action
