1888 Management, LLC is seeking a Director to join us at our headquarters in Wichita, KS. The successful candidate will be self-driven, highly motivated, and focused on creating value. In this position, you will play a critical role in managing financial assets, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring financial compliance. The director will work closely with the President and finance organization to develop and execute strategies that support the principal’s financial objectives and long-term growth.
What You Will Do
- Key role in developing contribution motivated talent across the 1888 Management team
- Financial Management: Development and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and liquidity. Monitor and forecast cash flow requirements to ensure adequate funds are available for operations.
- Advisory Role: Provide financial expertise and guidance to senior management and cross-functional teams. Participate in strategic decision-making processes, offering insights into financial implications.
- Manage a variety of projects as they arise
- Provide guidance and support to various technology initiatives
- Build strong relationships with internal customers and outside counterparties
- Advance the Principle Based Management™ culture within the team by applying and reinforcing the company’s Guiding Principles
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Economics, or a related Business field
- Progressive experience in a Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Tax, or Economics focused role(s)
- Leadership or Supervisory Experience (i.e. coaching/mentoring/leading a project team/developing talent)
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems, ERP systems, and/or Accounting systems
- Experience collaborating and working effectively across multiple capabilities, businesses and geographic locations
What Will Put You Ahead
- MBA, CPA, CFA or CTP certification
- Advanced knowledge of banking regulations, banking practices, cash management and Non-Profit/Trust administration.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or other data visualization tools
