The Director of Industrial Sales for North America will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals, identifying opportunities for growth and driving success with existing customers.
What You Will Do
- Lead and evaluate activities and performance of sales managers in North America
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans within the region for driving aggressive and sustainable growth
- Identify and develop strategies to penetrate target accounts/markets and drive customer diversification to improve Molex industrial presence in the region and across all regional sales channels, including distribution sales
- Responsible for overall recruitment and selection of field sales personnel and ensure proper training and staffing levels
- Retain and develop talent through coaching and engagement activities
- Maintain effective communication with the team and communicate strategies, goals, and actively provide feedback
- Interface with all levels of management to engage on pricing and terms negotiations and to resolve business challenges as they may come
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree in business, industrial engineering or similar
- At least 5 years of expertise in Industrial Automation and/or the industrial technology sector (software or hardware)
- Proven experience leading a sales organization
- Experience as leader driving strategy and team facilitation
- Experience with financial, cost, pricing and analytical skills
