What You Will Do
- Foster a safe work environment, ensure maintenance personnel are practicing "best safe work practices", lead the identification and mitigation of all work hazards for the jobs performed prior to work commencing
- Ensure compliance for GP policies and procedures
- Collaborate with operations leaders to ensure equipment/asset availability that will best meet customer requirements
- Supervise all plant maintenance functions involving mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and building facilities to include electrical, controls, mechanical, plumbing, pipe fitting, and welding, HVAC, etc
- Enforce an effective predictive and preventive maintenance strategy and storeroom management process
- Prioritize work daily in coordination with operations for maximum value creation and equipment up-time
- Assess technician performance, coach, mentor, and provide guidance and performance feedback
- Ensure the equipment is in OEM or better
- Participate in RCA and FMEA for malfunctioning equipment and develop contingency plans
- Enable and support PM completion rate above 95% using the PM SOP and ensure Inventory accuracy is about 95%
- Train, develop and implement standard around precision maintenance, lubrication, and workflow to hourly associates
- Must be willing and able to work different shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed in an industrial environment
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, production OR military environment as a Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, Reliability Engineer or Reliability Manager role
- Experience with Computerized maintenance management systems experience
- Experience with supervising and developing employees
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in the corrugated industry
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR an industrial maintenance technical degree
- Experience establishing and/or administering a Predictive/Preventive Maintenance (TPM) program and tracking results
- Previous experience with PLCs, drives, servos, motors, and instrumentation
