We are actively seeking for a talented and experienced candidate to lead the design and development of automated End-of-Line tester projects to test Automotive High-Speed Cable Assemblies and Connectors from concept through implementation. You will work with cross functional teams, vendors, internal & external customers, as well as your team members. We are looking for people who share our passion and enthusiasm in developing and delivering the best test system solution for our cable products by performing the following tasks; design and development of hardware and software components used in the implementation of systems employed for testing high-speed cable assemblies, connectors, and embedded boards, by test equipment connected through regular peripheral business such as GPIB, Ethernet, CAN, LIN and PCIe.

What You Will Do
- Lead multifunctional teams to design automated production test systems for cable assembly products. Help in maintaining records for project execution, schedule, and budget. Lead in completing overall test system design and review activities, including mechanical fixture design, PCB design review, hardware integration, software development, system documentation, performance testing and characterization, etc.
- Managing team members’ activities in the development, integration, and deployment of complex test systems used across multiple manufacturing centers. Must coordinate development activities with various cross functional teams, including internal team members, product development, manufacturing, marketing, quality, etc.
- Lead design and development of electrical, signal integrity, and concentricity testing activities of high-speed cable assemblies, by providing support for test and measurement data collection and presentation; identifying critical-to-quality aspects of product design and manufacturing process; performing root cause and corrective action analysis as well as preparing reports to summarize findings.
- Manage the creation and execution test plans, conduct software reviews, support system verification and validation tasks, as well as, help in analyzing failure modes, resolving issues, and documenting results.
- Create product and test system documentation, specifications, and work instructions.
- Understand, support, and contribute to Molex Quality / Environmental Management Systems by following company’s approved policies and procedures.
- Follow Molex PBM in providing support to self and team members to be what they can be with the goal of making the maximum principled value for our customers.
- Other duties as required by management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Computer /System Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive engineering experience with a strong understanding of product development and/or testing
- Minimum 3 years of experience with programming languages such as Python, LabView, C#, and C/C++
- Minimum 3 years of team management and leadership
- Experienced with RF/Microwave test and measurement equipment such as VNAs, oscilloscopes, TDR modules, and bit error rate testers, etc. Having working knowledge of transmission line applications, characteristic impedance, eye diagrams, frequency- and time-domain analysis, cross talk, bit error rate testing, etc.
